The Regional Autonomous Corporation of the Upper Magdalena (CAM), the Agro-environmental Association “Floating Garden” of La Argentina (Huila) and the Cedrela International Corporation, invite the guilds of beekeepers, farmers, researchers, peasants, enthusiasts, technicians, technologists, professionals, and the scientific and academic community in general, to participate in the “ PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST OF POLLINATORS IN COLOMBIA ” for the poster of the “Third Forum in defense of pollinators”.

Registration is completely free and will be done virtually from October 23, 2020 with a submission deadline of November 13, 2020 at 23:59 (Colombia time).

Only one photograph per participant on the theme of pollinators will be accepted. Submissions should be sent to editorial@cedrela.org in JPG, PNG, or TIFF format, with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi and a maximum size of 10 MB. The following information must be included in the email: subject line “Pollinator Photography Contest 2020”, full name of the author, institutional or independent affiliation (as applicable), Facebook username, date the photograph was taken, location, and a description (maximum 200 characters).

The submitted photographs will be published on the official Facebook page of the Cedrela Corporation: @corporacioncedrela starting on November 14, 2020, and the winner will be selected by netizens according to the number of Likes on this social network.

The results will be published on Monday, November 30, 2020, on the official website www.cedrela.org and on social media. The winner of the contest will receive a professional beekeeping suit , a set of Huila Biodiversity books donated by CAM , and a beekeeping product kit donated by the "Floating Garden" Agro-environmental Association. Their photograph will also be featured on the poster for the "Third Forum in Defense of Pollinators," to be held at the end of 2021.
